After the foundation of the Fohrenburg Brewery in the year 1881, the brewery developed, in coordination with the construction of the Arlberg Railway, to the biggest brewery in Vorarlberg and the Tyrolean Highlands. The first Tyrolean warehouse was erected in 1888 in Innsbruck, in 1926 the warehouse in Landeck followed.
Fohrenburger beer specialities have been on the Italian market since 1975, on the Swiss and Liechtenstein market for more than 30 years and for more then 10 years in Oman.
